Joint Property > Will Writing Service Glossary

Joint Property - property which is owned by two or more than people. Such jointly owned property is owned either as joint tenants or tenants-in-common. Depending on the type of ownership the share of the property will pass under the terms of a Will or intestacy, or will be inherited outright by the other co-owners. The type of ownership does not affect any lifetime property rights and obligations.
